The Housing Trust Fund of Johnson County is offering $1.1 million in funding to support the development and/or rehabilitation of housing provided to qualified households.
The Fall Funding round is named after former Senator Bob Dvorsky, a champion for affordable housing at the state and local level. He served on the Trust Fund Board of Directors for many years.
The funding offered by the Trust Fund comes from Johnson County, the City of Iowa City, the State Housing Trust Fund, Coralville and North Liberty, local financial institutions, and loan payments on prior projects.
Eligible applicants include businesses, nonprofit organizations, builders, developers, and governmental agencies. Funding is available for affordable owner-occupied, rental, transitional and emergency housing in Johnson County.
