A sex offender serving a life sentence has died at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center in Coralville.
The Iowa Department of Corrections says 65-year-old Brian Scott Winchetser was pronounced dead at 7:30 Monday night in the hospice room of the Oakdale facility.
Winchester was a registered sex offender out of Harrison County who was sent back to prison on June 19th due to a parole violation.
