A Cedar Rapids man was arrested last week after threatening to kill a person over a property dispute.
29-year-old Cade Storey allegedly messaged the victim on Thursday afternoon, threatening to kill them if they didn’t return unspecified property to him. He then messaged the victim her address and said that he would see her there.
Storey arrived at the woman’s residence just before 10pm and was arrested. A search of his person reportedly turned up a black container with marijuana and a pipe containing marijuana.
Storey was charged with 1st degree Harassment, marijuana possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted on all counts, he could be sentenced to up to 37 months in prison.
