University of Iowa Campus Safety has issued a statement about a reported sexual assault.
School officials say they received a report of a sexual assault that occurred on Wednesday, September 10th inside a west side residence hall. The assault was reported to be perpetrated by an acquaintance.
The incident is the second report of a sexual assault on campus since the start of the current semester. On September 1st, UI officials received a report of a sexual assault that occurred early that morning inside a west side residence hall. That assault was also reported to be perpetrated by an acquaintance.
