A bride who selected a Camilla Cabello song as her Daddy-Daughter dance got the thrill of her life when Camilla Cabello herself showed up to sing.
The Des Moines Register reports Kelli Murray was at a hotel the night before the wedding and ran into the singer. She told Cabello that she planned to use her song “First Man” for the father-daughter dance, and Cabello offered to sing the song live at the reception at the Walker Homestead Farm and Winery in Iowa City on Saturday.
Cabello told the guests she wrote the song for when she gets married. The song talks about Cabello’s father and his love for her and how he was the first man who really loved her. She said she considers herself “a daddy’s girl.”
The Register said they reached out to Cabello’s spokespeople to find out why she was in Iowa over the weekend but had yet to hear back.
