The North Liberty City Council race will now include two unopposed candidates after a third candidate dropped out.
The Johnson County Auditor’s Office reports Erek Sittig withdrew from the race on Monday. That leaves only Tonja Fortney and Brian Wayson running for two available council seats.
The North Liberty mayoral race also features an unopposed candidate in Chris Hoffman.
