A Cedar Rapids man who had been at large for about two months after escaping a detention facility in Coralville was arrested this week.

The Department of Corrections said 39-year-old Brian Albaugh of 34th Street NE was at Hope House on Holiday Road after being sent there on a probation violation on July 10th.  On July 17th, a facility eye count conducted at 7pm found that Albaugh was missing.  After reviewing camera footage, he was seen exiting the facility at approximately 6:28pm.  A warrant was issued for his arrest the next day.

Albaugh remained at large until he was located and booked at the Johnson County Jail Monday afternoon.  He faces a felony charge of Escape from Custody and could be sentenced to up to five years in prison if convicted.
