The subject of a no-contact order was reportedly found hiding in the protected party’s closet early Saturday morning.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s office says just after 2:15 Saturday morning a woman texted 9-1-1 to report that 31-year-old Antonio Polland of Chicago was inside her residence in the Breckenridge Estates manufactured housing community on Taft Avenue. Arriving deputies say they found Polland hiding under a blanket in a closet. He was arrested and charged with a no-contact order violation and Interference With Official Acts. If convicted, Polland faces up to 30 days in jaIl.
Polland is awaiting trial on a Domestic Abuse Causing Injury charge stemming from an incident with the protected party in August.
