The second suspect in an alleged storage facility burglary has been identified.

KCJJ previously reported 44-year-old Christian Rincon of Zeller Crossing was seen on camera entering IStorage on West Penn Street August 22nd without authorization.  Neither Rincon or the co-suspect were listed having units in the storage facility.

The two entered one of the buildings, and the property manager noticed the lock was cut off one of the units after seeing Rincon and the co-suspect leave the building.

The victim reported that someone had broken the lock to her unit and that someone had been inside.  She later stated that a pair of shoes had been taken from inside her locker.

Rincon allegedly was carrying a black backpack at the time the storage unit was broken into.

Police have now identified the second suspect as 30-year-old Michael Bartels, also of Zeller Crossing. A warrant was issued for his arrest on September 22nd and he was charged with 3rd degree Burglary, a Class D Felony punishable by a prison sentence of up to five years if convicted.  He was released on his own recognizance Thursday pending arraignment.
