An Iowa City man was arrested on a Harassment charge from last month.

According to police, 42-year-old Donta Lindsey of South Johnson Street and another person went to the victim’s residence the morning of September 20th due to a dispute between the victim and the other party.  Lindsey stood outside during the incident, but when the third party was leaving, he allegedly told the victim, “Bitch, I’ll kill you, you already know how I do.”

The victim told police that they were in fear of Lindsey and believed he may have a firearm.

Attempts to locate Lindsey were unsuccessful, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was located Sunday and charged with 1st degree Harassment, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a jail term of up to two years.

Judge David Fiester released Lindsey on his own recognizance and issued a no-contact order.
