An Ely man was arrested on a warrant stemming from an alleged assault on a Johnson County Ambulance paramedic earlier this year.
According to court documents, 38-year-old Nicolas Anderson of Hillside Court was in an ambulance with the paramedic at approximately 10:20pm June 7th in a parking lot on the 300 block of Southgate Avenue. He allegedly told the paramedic multiple times that he wanted to have intercourse with her.
The paramedic reached for medical equipment overhead where Anderson was laying, and as she leaned over, he allegedly grabbed her leg just under her butt cheek. Anderson was believed to be intoxicated due to his bloodshot watery eyes and slurred speech.
The incident was reportedly observed by a witness.
A warrant was issued on June 10th; Anderson was booked into the Johnson County Jail at 2:42am Thursday. He faces a charge of Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations and could be sentenced to up to a year in jail if convicted.
