Planned Parenthood North Central States has announced the launch of expanded fertility care services.

Dr. Sarah Traxler, chief medical officer, said “Patients have turned to Planned Parenthood for sexual and reproductive health care like birth control, cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, and more for over 100 years. The addition of fertility care means patients can now access this care from a provider they trust.”

Planned Parenthood North Central States president and CEO Ruth Richardson said they are expanding services and adapting to make health care more accessible for the community.

A release announcing the service says it affirms their commitment to provide compassionate and high-quality sexual and reproductive health care to those who need it.

The new service is offered at all family-planning health centers and via telehealth in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and South Dakota. The wide range of reproductive and sexual health services includes and is not limited to cervical and breast cancer screenings, contraception care, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, HIV testing, PrEP and PEP, and more. Patients seeking services can schedule online or contact 1-800-230-7526, to schedule an appointment.
