Cedar Rapids Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that left two injured.
At approximately 8:31p.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of Mt Vernon Rd SE for the report of a shooting at a bar. Upon arrival, an adult male was located with what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound. This person was taken to a local hospital for the injuries, but they are not considered life-threatening.
A second subject was also taken to the hospital with a minor head injury.
Two unidentified individuals were detained as a result of the investigation.
There is no threat to the public. The scene is secure and there is an ongoing investigation. No further information is being made available at this time.
