Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity (IVHFH) welcomes three University of Iowa Women’s Athletic teams to the construction site this week to help build homes for two local families.

The women’s gymnastics team will be at the Women’s Build Home on 9th Avenue in Coralville today from 9-noon; the softball team will be there Friday from 1-5.

And on Saturday, the women’s tennis team will assist at the Aiden Build Home on Aiden Street in Iowa City.

Christy Shipley, IVHFH Construction Manager, shared her excitement about welcoming the student-athletes:

“The energy these teams bring to the job site is contagious. They come ready to learn, ready to work, and ready to make an impact. You can tell they’re used to teamwork—they jump right in and lift each other up.”
