Multiple agencies responded to a rollover accident on Interstate 380 Wednesday night.
The North Liberty and Tiffin Fire Departments reported Thursday that they responded to a dump truck that rolled over in the southbound lanes of I-380 near the Penn Street exit at about 5:45 p.m. The crash caused the truck’s load to spill across the roadway.
North Liberty firefighters are crediting Streb Construction for providing a skid loader to help clean up the spill. No injuries were reported.
The North Liberty Fire Department also issued a statement asking those who pass by accident scenes to not take photos or record videos, as it can create dangerous situations for first responders and law enforcement.
