Sentencing Monday for Hills man accused of sexually abusing minors

A Hills man is due to be sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to numerous charges that he sexually abused minors.

44-year-old Cesar Santos Adame reached a plea deal in September. He was initially charged with three counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse and one count each of 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse and Indecent Contact with a Child. If convicted on all charges, he would have faced a maximum of 87 years in prison.

The charges against Santos Adame are now listed as two counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse, two counts of Indecent Contact with a Child, and one count each of 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse and Lascivious Acts with a Minor. Those charges carry a maximum total sentence of 65 years in prison.

Santos Adame is accused of groping girls inside of his Main Street residence between May of 2016 and September of 2022.  Alleged victims range in age from under 12 years old to 15 years of age.

There is no indication of how many victims were involved, or if multiple charges apply for the same victims.

Santos Adame will be sentenced Monday morning at 11 at the Johnson County Courthouse.
