Cedar Rapids police are investigating a Thursday afternoon shooting that left one adult male injured.
According to a release from the city, officers responded to a shots fired call in the 1300 block of J St SW at approximately 2:53pm. Officers found a 20-year-old adult male with a gunshot wound who was taken to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
There is an ongoing investigation.
