A Solon man faces child endangerment charges after an incident at his residence.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Pro Road home of 43-year-old Nathaniel Johnson at 9:00 Tuesday night to resolve an issue within the household. Deputies say when they arrived, Johnson was intoxicated and refused to follow their commands. He was also reportedly yelling in front of his children, instilling fear in them. Investigators say the children told them they were sacred and wanted to go to their mother’s house. Johnson was arrested and is accused resisting and kicking at officers as he was being placed into custody.
Johnson is charged with two counts each of Child Endangerment and Assault – Placing in Fear of Contact, and one count of Interference With Official Acts. If convicted on all charges, he faces a maximum of over four years in jail.
