City of Iowa City news release
The Iowa City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in a robbery investigation.
At approximately 9:55 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, a man entered Casey’s, 204 N. Dubuque St. The man claimed to have a firearm and robbed the business. He was last seen fleeing northbound on foot.
The suspect is described as a Black male wearing all-black clothing. Photos of the suspect are included below.
Anyone with information on this incident, including those with potential security camera footage in the area, is asked to contact Detective Isaac Hoffmann at IHoffmann@iowa-city.org or by using the Crime Stoppers information below.
