Coralville woman accused of intentionally ramming her ex-boyfriend’s car

A Coralville woman is accused of intentionally ramming her ex-boyfriend’s car when she saw it in public.

18-year-old Ty’Shawnna Robey of the Western Hills Estates manufactured housing community was booked into the Johnson County Jail at 1:45 Friday morning. According to arrest records, Robey was driving near the Iowa City Marketplace on Sycamore Street just before 10:30 on the night of September 25th when she saw her ex-boyfriend’s car with four people inside. The ex has a current no-contact order against Robey.

Robey allegedly intentionally rammed her car into the ex-boyfriend’s vehicle and fled the scene. She’s now charged with 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief, Reckless Driving, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. If convicted on the criminal mischief charge, she faces a maximum of five years in prison.
