A Central Iowa woman could face decades in prison after a reported Washington County burglary Friday night.
Washington County dispatch records indicate deputies were called to a residence on Lincoln Street in Ainsworth just after 9:00. A caller reported an intoxicated woman was using a crowbar and a hammer to try to break in.
38-year-old Kristin Whaley of Des Moines is now charged with 1st Degree Burglary Including Bodily Injury. If convicted, she faces a maximum of 25 years in prison.
