An Iowa City man faces a felony charge after North Liberty Police reportedly found him with controlled substances.
40-year-old Lonnie Clark of Aber Avenue was in contact with officers at Kwik-Star on Diamond Boulevard just before 2am Monday when he was allegedly in possession of 8 grams of a clear crystal rock that looked to be methamphetamine, and 10 grams of a brown and grayish-white substance in a green container that looked to be heroin.
Clark allegedly was also in possession of a one-hit tooter, pipe, and a kit containing needles.
He was taken into custody and charged with possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. If convicted on both counts, Clark faces a possible prison sentence of over five years.
