Two men were arrested Sunday night after allegedly jumping a victim who had come to a North Liberty address.
The incident occurred around 7:30pm on the 700 block of Front Street. The victim had come to the area and claimed that 4-5 males jumped him. He reportedly had visible injuries to his back and hands that were bloody.
Two of the individuals were pointed out by the victim and taken into custody. They 18-year-old Trent Langston of Stewart Street in North Liberty and 19-year-old Demetrius Williams of Davenport. They have been charged with Assault causing Bodily Injury and could be sentenced to up to a year in jail apiece if convicted.
