A Swisher woman was taken into custody after allegedly assaulting her husband of 20 years.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to the home of 46-year-old Jennifer LalLonde at around 2:30pm on reports of a domestic disturbance, but were called again about a half-hour later. The victim, LaLonde’s husband, told officers that she had been intoxicated for the past several days and had physically attacked him multiple times.
LaLonnde allegedly hit the man in the face, causing red marks under and along his eyes, as well as red marks under his ear and on his neck.
LaLonde was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault causing Injury, a serious misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to a year if convicted.
A no-contact order was requested between the couple.
