A probation violation has been filed against an Iowa City robbery suspect.
30-year-old Lamon Lewis, who lists his address as Shelter House, was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 10:15 Wednesday night. Lewis is accused of violating his probation on an Indecent Exposure conviction after he allegedly stole beer from a store and was confronted by an employee on Boyrum Street just after 12:45 on the morning of December 27th. Lewis allegedly punched the employee, leading to minor injuries and a 2nd Degree Robbery charge. If convicted, Lewis could face over 11 years in prison.
Lewis was convicted of Indecent Exposure in November after an August incident that saw him reportedly masturbating in public while naked and watching pornography on his phone at the Villas on 4th in Coralville.
