Iowa City Police say a suspect brandished a replica gun during a dispute, with the victims convinced it was real.

Officers were called to an altercation outside the Catskill Court residence of 43-year-old Raishaun Henderson just before 2:30 Sunday morning. Henderson had allegedly brandished a black lighter designed to look like a Glock 17 Gen5 handgun. Police say Henderson convinced the others involved that the lighter was a real gun. At one point, he allegedly pointed it at a person who fled and called the police.

Henderson is now charged with Assault While Displaying Weapon. If convicted, he faces a maximum of two years in jail.
