The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a man who died in a Saturday shooting in Tiffin.
57-year-old Lee Earl Krogh of Iowa City was found suffering from a gunshot wound outside 445 Iris Court just after 11:45 Saturday morning. Callers to 9-1-1 reported hearing a gunshot, and arriving paramedics took Krogh to University of Iowa Health Care, where he was later pronounced dead.
The sheriff’s office says there is no current threat to the public and the investigation is ongoing.
