North Liberty Police have arrested an Iowa City woman they say hit her boyfriend in the head multiple times with a whippet canister.
Records from the NLPD indicate 21-year-old Violet Bradley of Bowery Street hit her boyfriend of five years in the head several times with the metal whippet canister at 1:15 Sunday morning at a residence on Sadler Lane. The man suffered a large laceration above his right eye, as well as cuts inside his mouth and on the back of his head. The man told investigators that Bradley assaulted him because she was mad that he was using drugs again.
Bradley is charged with Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Injury. If convicted, she faces a maximum of one year in jail.
