A Hope House resident who failed to return to the facility earlier this month has pleaded guilty to Voluntary Absence from Custody.

Court records indicate 38-year-old Michael Williams signed out of Hope House on a work pass January 2nd with a listed return time of 3:30pm.  Williams failed to return, and a warrant for his arrest was issued on January 6th.

Williams was located and jailed January 9th. On Friday, he pleaded guilty to the charge, and was fined $430.  Records do not indicate the circumstances that led Williams to be assigned to Hope House.
