A Cedar Rapids man is accused of using a nude screenshot of a Coralville resident and disseminating it without their permission.
20-year-old Travis James of Queen Drive SW was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 5:30 Friday night. Coralville Police say in August of last year the alleged victim learned that James had taken a screenshot during a private video call that captured the other person in a full or partial state of nudity. James then allegedly sent the photo to a former friend of the alleged victim without permission.
James is charged with two counts of 1st Degree Harassment. If convicted, he faces a maximum of four years in jail.
Arrest records do not indicate if the two charges are because there were two screenshots, two recipients, or if the person in the screenshot and the recipient are both considered victims.
