Coralville Police say the driver in an early Sunday morning rollover accident on Interstate 80 was legally intoxicated.
Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on I-80 westbound near the 1st Avenue exit just after 2:15 a.m. The driver of the 2001 Toyota SUV, 19-year-old Jordan Caton of Alburnett, allegedly refused medical care, admitted to drinking, showed signs of intoxication, was wearing a bar wristband, and registered a breath alcohol level of .140%. He was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated.
The accident caused some minor delays for overnight traffic.
