A new poll from Morning Consult shows Kim Reynolds is the nation’s most unpopular governor in the country — an honor she has held for two years in a row. This is the longest stretch a politician has held the title of most unpopular governor.

A release from the Iowa Democratic Party says Reynolds is one of only two governors with an underwater net approval rating, with 43 percent approval and 49 percent disapproval.

State Party Chair Rita Hart called the report “an embarrassing accomplishment,” and added, “Iowans know we’re on the wrong track, yet every Republican running for governor would continue Reynolds’ failed legacy: dead last in economic growth, rural Iowans struggling to stay in their communities, kids and teachers set up for failure, and working families losing access to health care. Iowans are ready for change.”
