An inmate at the Johnson County Jail is accused of violating a no contact order dozens of times during his incarceration.
According to the police reports, 39-year-old Raphael Neely of Lilac Street in Tiffin was served a no-contact order at the jail on December 13th. Beginning on December 24th, he allegedly called the protected party daily through January 7th, contacting them anywhere from 3 to 27 times a day. In total, Neely made contact with the protected party 177 times by phone and 15 times via video call.
On Friday, a Domestic Abuse Assault 3rd or subsequent offense charge that led to the no-contact order was dismissed by Judge Jason Burns. Neely was sentenced to 60 days in jail each on 10 of the 15 contempt charges.
