Iowa City Police have arrested a Benton County woman they say entered another person’s hotel room and started stripping.

Officers were called to the Highlander Hotel on Highlander Place just after 11:45 Saturday night after 32-year-old Allison See of Van Horne reportedly entered another person’s room, began disrobing, and told the man, “Let’s do this”. See eventually left, but police say she later returned and knocked on the door. When the occupant answered, See allegedly punched him in the face.

The man told investigators he does now know See. She allegedly showed signs of intoxication, and witnesses at the hotel bar say they saw her consume multiple beverages. See was taken to the hospital for evaluation. She’s accused of assaulting police officers and hospital staff who were trying to restrain her.

See is charged with 1st Degree Burglary, Assault Causing Bodily Injury, Public Intoxication, Interference With Official Acts, and two counts of Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations. If convicted on all charges, she faces a maximum of over 30 years in prison.
