Iowa City Police are investigating a reported shooting on the city’s southeast side.
Dispatch records show officers were called to 2733 Wayne Avenue just after 10:15 Monday night for a report of shots fired.
According to an ICPD news release, responding officers located evidence of a shooting near the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Baker Street. One juvenile was hit by gunfire and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Dispatch records show officers were also alerted to a suspicious person at 2722 Wayne Avenue at the exact same time as the reported shooting, although it is unknown if that call is related.
