Despite a wintry weather forecast the first day of spring is just one week away, and the University of Iowa is reminding bicyclists that secure parking permits are now available at three campus locations: the Newton Road Parking Ramp, the Hawkeye Parking Ramp, and at the UI Heath Care Medical Center Downtown…formerly known as Mercy Iowa City.
University of Iowa faculty and staff employed 50% of the time or more in a permanent position may qualify for a secure bicycle parking assignment. UI graduate students may be assigned a secure bicycle space based on availability.
The cost for secure bicycle parking permits for all others is $5 per month.
