A convicted sex offender is accused of asking two prostitutes to have sex with a mentally handicapped boy at his Iowa City residence.

Iowa City Police say around 3:00 on the afternoon of March 6th 71-year-old Kevin Lind of Hudson Avenue made contact with a female after seeing her photo on the escort service web site Skip the Games and asked her if she knew anyone younger. The woman allegedly gave him another female’s number and they began communicating. Over the next several days, Lind allegedly had sex with both women for $3,000.

At one point, Lind allegedly told the women that he has a 14-15-year-old mentally handicapped boy who visits him and asked if they would have sex with him.

Lind is charged with two counts of Prostitution. If convicted, he faces a maximum of four years in jail.

Lind was convicted of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor in Polk County last year. The three victims were all under the age of 14.
