The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says a North Liberty man broke into a home in rural Solon, threatened the resident, and vandalized a vehicle parked outside.

Arrest records indicate 41-year-old Dustin Stucker of the Golfview Estates manufactured housing community kicked in the door of a 210th Street residence north of Morse just after 6:45 Sunday night. Stucker allegedly threatened to kill the resident and stole a DVR that housed video of the incident. He also reportedly punctured all four tires of a truck parked outside.

Stucker is charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, 1st Degree Harassment, 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief, and 5th Degree Theft. If convicted on all counts, he faces a maximum of over 14 years in prison.

Stucker is still awaiting trial for a separate burglary charge after allegedly breaking into a residence on East Washington Street in Iowa City in March of last year.
