A West Liberty man was arrested on a warrant stemming from a no-contact order violation.
The original incident occurred January 31st at an Iowa City residence around 2:30am. According to court documents, 22-year-old Bryan Martinez Zavala of 8th Street had contact with the protected party.
Multiple witnesses said they saw Zavala speaking with the protected party.
A warrant was issued February 2nd; Zavala was taken into custody Monday. He was ordered to be held without bond pending future court dates.
