An arrest has been made in a downtown Iowa City shot fired incident.

Iowa City Police say a juvenile has been arrested on charges of riot, reckless use of a firearm causing property damage, minor in possession of a dangerous weapon, and person ineligible to carry a dangerous weapon.

Additional arrests are anticipated.

The investigation was conducted by the police departments of Iowa City, the University of Iowa, and the City of Burlington.

According to a previous ICPD news release, at 3:00 on the morning of March 8th officers responded to the 200 block of South Clinton Street for a report of a shot fired. UI Police say evidence of gunfire was recovered two days later.
