Multiple agencies responded to a fire along the Coralville Strip late Saturday night.
Just before midnight, fire departments from Coralville, North Liberty and Iowa City and University of Iowa Police and the Johnson County Ambulance Service responded to what was originally reported as a building fire near the intersection of Highway 6 and 22nd Avenue. Dispatch records indicate arriving crews learned the fire was actually in the vegetation, but it was still next to nearby businesses.
Crews were still on the scene as of early Sunday morning.
