UPDATE: BENOIT HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE

The Iowa City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing person.
Zachary Benoit, 20, was last in his home in the 200 Block of East Burlington Street at 11 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 2026. Benoit is 5’6″, 135 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes. He may be wearing orange running shoes.
Anyone with information on Benoit’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Joint Emergency Communications Center at 319-356-6800.
