A Fort Atkinson Wisconsin man faces possible jail time after allegedly stealing perfume testers from a Coral Ridge Mall store.
The incident occurred January 21s at the Ulta store just after 6pm. According to police, 20-year-old Robert Wildenauer was observed on closed circuit cameras taking tester fragrance sprays by placing them into a bag he had with him when he entered the store.
Wildenauer allegedly left all points of sale without paying for the items. When confronted, he reportedly admitted to taking three fragrances. The value of the testers was over $430.
A warrant was issued on March 20th and Wildenauer was charged a week later. He faces a fourth degree theft charge punishable by up to a year in jail if convicted. He was released on his own recognizance pending arraignment.
