A Shelter House resident has been arrested after allegedly committing multiple thefts.
According to the arrest warrants, 33-year-old Rena Rocqumore began to steal bottles of tequila from the Target on East Washington Street. That morning, she took six bottles of tequila, concealed them in a bag she brought with her, and left without paying.
Additional thefts were reportedly committed March 27th, where she took four bottles of tequila, and on March 30th, when she allegedly took another four bottles.
Total loss to Target was estimated at over $630.
Roqcuomore also is accused of stealing seven bottles of tequila and a soda from the CVS store on Muscatine Avenue. The total value of the stolen items was $287.
A check of Rocwquomore’s criminal record showed 8 prior theft convictions from 2025.
She was charged with two counts of third degree theft and could be sentenced to up to four years in prison if convicted on both charges.
