An Iowa City man has been arrested after it was discovered he possessed child pornography.
According to the police report, 23-year-old Kanrry Kang of Wolfbrook Circle had two different devices and two GMail accounts, where they reportedly discovered several images and videos received from Facebook and GMail.
There were allegedly 50 images and 10 videos depicting minors, some toddlers, and some featuring bondage. The range of possession was reportedly between August 2023 through November 2025.
A warrant was issued, and Kang was taken into custody Monday. He faces five counts of Purchase or Possession of images depicting a minor in a sex act. If convicted on all charges, he could be sentenced to up to 25 years in prison.
