An area transient who has been convicted of theft four times in the last twelve months has been accused of another incident.

Police say 33-year-old Rena Rocqumore was the 1st Avenue HyVee Saturday afternoon when she allegedly placed alcoholic beverages, diapers, and hair care products into a shopping cart. She then reportedly left the store and the property without paying for any of the items.

Loss prevention captured the incident on surveillance video, and valued the stolen items at just over $200.

With four previous theft convictions, the most recent being April 2nd, Rocqumore was charged with 3rd degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by up to two years in jail if convicted.
