An update has been posted by the family of the only one of the five victims injured in the April 19th shooting on the Ped Mall who remains hospitalized.
Janjay Peters has posted to the GoFundMe page for her sister, Miranda, that the University of Iowa student has been moved out of the UI Health Care ICU and into the neuroscience unit. Miranda Peters has also opened her eyes, blinked, shown slight eye movement, movement in her right hand, and slight movement in her right foot. Janjay Peters writes that with assistance, her sister was even able to sit in a chair.
