The Nashville Tennessee Police have arrested the man accused of killing two people Saturday, one of which was the brother of former Hawkeye and current San Fransisco 49er CJ Beathard.

At 3:47pm Wednesday, the PD tweeted that Michael D. Mosley had been apprehended and arrested, and would be booked on two counts of criminal homicide and one count of attempted criminal homicide.

He was found in a vacant home about 30 miles west of the city, with several law enforcement agencies carrying out the arrest. Authorities say he was alone when he surrendered.

Clay Beathard and Paul Trapeni were stabbed to death just before 3am Saturday at a Nashville bar after an argument over a woman that Mosely allegedly groped. Another victim was stabbed but survived.

CJ Beathard missed his team’s game Saturday.

Beathard was a junior quarterback at Long Island University and had previously played at Iowa Western Community College.
