A Lisbon man who was reportedly trying to get into storage units in Iowa City early Monday was arrested for meth possession.

Officers were dispatched to Blue Lagoon Storage on Commercial Drive just after 1am on reports of two males trying to get into storage units there. Upon arrival, they allegedly saw 37-year-old Travis Glew of Bunker Hill Drive in Lisbon driving away from the area and initiated a traffic stop.

During the stop, a K-9 reportedly detected an odor, and the vehicle was searched. Officers allegedly found several syringes, a used marijuana pipe, and two small baggies of methamphetamine.

Glew was taken into custody and charged with meth possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. He could be sentenced to up to 13 months in prison if convicted of both charges.
