The Cedar Rapids Fire Department is investigating two Sunday afternoon garage fires on the 200 block of 11th Street Northwest.
Crews were called to the area around 3pm on reports of a debris fire between two garages, but when they arrived they found the garages also on fire.
The debris fire was knocked down quickly, and then got the garage fires put out. Officials say they were hampered by both structures being filled with items.
There were no injuries; the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
